The day started off slightly overcast but this did not dampen spirits. The children were up early and ready to go with their first activities.
Groups 1-3 started off with abseiling. Most children attempted this and thoroughly enjoyed it. Groups 4-5 started the day with climbing. The children really enjoyed this too.
The second activity was fencing for groups 1-3 and abseiling for groups 4-5.
The children enjoyed the lunch which consisted of hotdogs, fish, vegetarian lasagne and chips followed by ice-cream.
The weather heated up in the afternoon. Groups 1-3 had their opportunity to attempt the climbing whilst 4-5 had archery.
The final daytime activity was archery for groups 1-3 and crate building for groups 4-5. This is where the children had to stack crates as high as possible and stand on them without falling off. Don’t panic they all had harnesses and helmets on!
Children enjoyed fish fingers, toad in the hole and cottage pie for dinner which was followed by ice cream, crumble or jelly.
The children are now just enjoying some free time playing games in the early evening sunshine. Our activity this evening is giant cluedo.Loading content.......
