School Vision

Field End Junior School is a unique community school that combines traditional values with a modern vibrant vision.

We believe that every single pupil deserves an exciting, engaging and purposeful education that allows them to make good progress during their time with us, ready to move on to secondary school.

Together we nurture dreams, inspire minds and build futures.

Each year we write a school development plan which helps us to achieve this.
This year our overarching aim is to minimise the disruption to our community caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Summary School Development Plan 2021-22

The Three 'R's' - our core values

Friends(3)

It is our aim to provide a safe, happy and stimulating environment for all children.

Our three core values are for adults and children ‘to be respectful, to be responsible and to be ready’ - THE THREE ‘R’S’.

These three values underpin all the topics that are taught across the school and are interwoven into all areas of school life, from the classroom to the playground and the assembly hall to the staffroom.  Within an ethos of support, challenge and encouragement to succeed, we develop confident individuals with high self-esteem and a positive attitude to learning and working together.

We are proud to be part of the local community and a true partnership between school and the families of the children we teach. As a school we are committed to developing each child as an individual to grow into confident, effective citizens through our emphasis on modelling and teaching values and making good choices.

Through high and consistent expectations, we believe that every child can work to the best of their ability and acquire the skills to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing world.
