Timings of the school day
School gates open : 8.30 am
Soft strart: 8.40am-8.50am
Morning registration : 8.50am
School gates close: 3.30pm
Total number of hours per week : 32.5/daily : 6.5
When the school gates are opened at 8:30 a.m. each morning, parents and carers are welcome to come and wait in the playground with their child until the school adults arrive.
At 8:40 a.m. when each spur door opens, a member of staff will be present at the door should a parent or carer wish to ask any questions. This children go to their classes where they begin their day with a soft start activity.
The doors close at 8:50 a.m.
End of the Day
Years 3 and 4 finish their day at 3:10 p.m.
Years 5 and 6 finish their day at 3:20 p.m.
Each class is accompanied by their teacher to the playground, who will be available to speak to parents and carers.
Children in years 3 and 4 MUST be collected by someone on your contact list. If another adult is collecting your child you must email the office on enquiries@fieldendjuniors.org.uk with the name and contact number for your nominated collector and we will acknowledge your email. They must be over 16 years of age to collect.
Children in years 5 and 6 may leave school alone with written parental permission emailed to enquiries@fieldendjuniors.org.uk and we will acknowledge your consent.
